than 20 years, including top traded goods and some engineering services;
- Good knowledge and practice for more than 20 years of trade and export
promotion policy, practice and institutions (trade policy, trade information,
trade financing, practical tools and means - one-run systems of trade
documents, professor M. Porter’s methodology of defining competitive
advantages of the nations, tariff and non-tariff trade barriers, etc.)
- Trade facilitation and UN/EDIFACT practical activity for ten years
within WP.4 and CEFACT/ECE/UN. Member of CEFACT Steering Group (CSG)
during March 1997 – March 1999 first term. Personal organizational experience
through CEEC/EB, CEEC-EFTA cooperation and recent (1998-1999) SECI and
SECIPRO and South East Europe Trade Initiative (SEETI) experience, personal
“hands on” experience with UNLK, TDED, UN/EDIFACT, etc. From September
1990 till October 1999 - Chairman of BULPRO (Bulgarian national trade
facilitation body established in accordance with UN/ECE/CEFACT Recommendation
N 4).

- practical experience with Bulgarian foreign trade organizations, dealing
with electrical, mechanical and electronic equipment, including trade
experience as assistant trade commissioner in Bulgarian trade commission
- Toronto, Ontario, Canada - 1979 - 1983;

as an expert with the Ministry of Foreign Economic relation in the field
of foreign trade regime, trade facilitation, COCOM maters (1989 - 1993);

European integration in all aspects (EU, EFTA, CEFTA), Bulgarian accession
to WTO/GATT, Bulgarian privatization, etc. (February 1995 - February
1997);

practice and institutions (Bulgarian governmental and non-governmental
organizations - BCCI, NSBS, international organizations – CEFACT/ECE/UN,
ITC UNCTAD/WTO, etc.)
